L.A. California native Dawn Cobalt has been working as a film director and multimedia content creator for more than 15 years. After graduating from the New York Film Academy, she founded FutureView Entertainment, a film production company and has garnered a variety of awards and nominations throughout her career by making thought provoking films that strike at the core of the human spirit.
Many of Dawn’s stories provoke thought on current controversial issues as well as satirical, of-the-wall topics, both bringing you to tears with emotion and laughter. Her style of filmmaking creates worlds that intertwine with our reality, making them intriguing and emotional and at times authentically ridiculous.
“One of the joys of filmmaking for me,” Dawn explains, “is the collaboration of working with actors, both seasoned professionals and new talent. Being an actor’s director is a role that I take seriously, letting them shine is my intention.”
