Tasha Brown is truly is a storyteller at heart. The focus of her artistic practice has been to tell stories unique to her life experiences, while maintaining an enduring passion and a strong interest in filmmaking, video production and creative photography. Tasha creates art, purposed to connect with hearts and minds of people around the world, regardless of cultural backgrounds and differences.
Her multi-disciplinary artistic background stems from over a decade of hands-on experience in the independent Media Arts world of Film and Video Production. She has written and directed several short films, many of which have received funding from various Arts Councils. Tasha graduated from Algonquin College’s Scriptwriting program in 2004, and completed Humber College’s Creative Photography program in 2018 with Honors, and was the recipient of the Narvali Digital Photography Limited Award for Best Portrait Portfolio.
