Anna Maguire is a Melbourne born Artist who’s love of deep human connection and relationships led her from the curiosity as an actor, to falling in love with directing and complete story telling through the medium of film. ‘We Are Art’ was Anna’s first venture into documentary film making, where she produced, directed, filmed and co-edited the entire film. ‘Sacrifice’ was an absolute gift to Direct for Anna. Being able to explore the give and take of an intimate relationship, working with actors who were open to the emotion and vulnerability necessary to capture the audience in such a narrative, has left a mark on Anna as she looks toward writing, directing and producing more of her own works in the future.
