Sandra L. Bucy likes to say that she has been a writer since before she could hold a pencil. Fascinated with words from an early age and armed with a vivid imagination, she remembers creating characters and storylines when she was as young as age four. A prolific writer, she has written short stories, poetry, and novels, and has focused on writing for independent film and television for the past 25 years. She is the author or co-auther of seventeen screenplay and TV pilot projects. She lives with Dan her life partner and their Aussiepoo Finn in a plant-filled loft Dan built nestled in the middle of a nation forest in National City Michigan. When she is not writing she can be found either working in her burgeoning vegetable garden or with Dan and Finn (all of them “boat bums”) on Lake Huron or another of the several lakes that surround them. Sandra writes screenplays based both on the ideas of her clients as well as from her own story ideas. She is currently writing a feature length drama for a client out of Denver Colorado and plans to devote the rest of 2021 to writing and promoting her own projects.
