The My Take Show
Creator / Host / Producer
Pamela Kuma’s desire to voice her opinion to the world began in Ghana where she was the 6th born out of 12 children. Making sure that her voice was heard was a priority that would lead her to success early on in life. Understanding how some may be hesitant to speak for themselves out of fear or rejection, Pamela realized that she also had to ensure that she would amplify others voices in addition to her own.
After receiving an advanced Level education in Ghana, she left and arrived in the US in 1994. She enrolled at Pace University after finishing her first year at BMCC. Pamela was encouraged to head into the Information System/computer science program for monetary reasons but realized that her passion lied elsewhere. After transferring to NYIT, she realized that she wanted to work in Media where her professors helped her hone her writing and storytelling skills. Pamela graduated from NYIT in 2006 with her Bachelor’s Degree and a newfound passion for entertainment.
Pamela has previously worked in the finance and advertising industries and while professions within these industries were lucrative, she knew that there was something else she was destined to do. She wanted to live out her purpose which is to deliver information in a way that people understand and it makes a difference. This was the inspiration for “The My Take Web Series”.
“MY TAKE WEB SERIES” and “MY TAKE GLOBAL” are platforms that allow Pamela, her friends and associates to share their take on various issues pertaining to the human race. The motto for The My Take Webseries is to “bring realness and light to everyday conversations”. Pamela has always believed and practiced this in her everyday life but now through “My Take Web Series” and “My Take Global” she hopes to bring her gift of gab and passion for connecting with others on a worldwide level.
