Lisa is an award-winning filmmaker and artist. She is also the founder of Lady Film Media, operating in New York and Los Angeles. 

With her company, and production team, she strives to create content that positively represents women in film, both in front and behind the camera, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Their motto encompasses the words “Breaking All Barriers” and frequently uses the hashtag #RepresentationMatters to enforce the value and need for diversity in filmmaking. 

Her first-ever short film, August in the City, won critical acclaim on the film festival circuit from 2017 all the way up until the present-day, with a screening held at the prestigious Festival de Cannes. 

Her second film, House of La Reine, has just hit the film festival circuit and already has four acceptances into national fests. 

Tedesco has a passion for screenwriting with several of her works winning awards at various festivals and competitions around the world. Her latest, Dear Emma Your Charlie, about a young woman who finds out about a deeply covered-up secret regarding her late mother while she served in the military overseas during The Gulf War, has been optioned to LA-based production company 16_3 Films and will begin production in 2021

She is currently working on a dark comedy/ fantasy script that is set in Reno, NV that she hopes to shoot, on location, in early fall called Josie’s Date With Death.

Along with writing and directing Lisa has also produced several shorts and feature-length films and has signed on to produce a dramatic LGBTQ short in Queens in winter.
