Multi-Award winning writer, producer and director Jan Miller Corran lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. Corran began her film making career as consultant to the Academy award nominated feature documentary “Complaints of a Dutiful Daughter” (1994).

She continued with a career as a neuropsychologist until 2013 when she switched careers and became a full time film maker. Since then she has produced over twenty documentaries, shorts and feature films. Her most recent projects are “I’ll See You in My Dreams” with Blythe Danner and Sam Elliott, “Snapshots” (writer/producer) directed by Melanie Mayron and starring Piper Laurie, Brooke Adams, Emily Goss and Shannon Collis, and her directorial debut of “How Bout a Cuppa Tea”. When not immersed in a film project, Corran enjoys traveling and walking her dog Sophie.
